Album Notes

At an early age, Jeff Roberson knew that "God's Music Was His Life". Before his feet could barely touch the pedals he was the pianist for his local church. By the time he was eleven years old, he was working on studio projects and traveling throughout the country with Benny Cummings and the Kings Temple Choir, sharing concert billings with legends like Andre Crouch, James Cleveland and Edwin Hawkins. His exposure to these giants in the Gospel Music Ministry had quite an impact on his life.
Jeff experienced many personal issues in his life, which caused him to venture into a lifestyle of drugs and prison. Still the hand of God was upon his life. After many years of trauma and neglect, the prayers of the righteous prevailed in his life. After which, Jeff totally surrendered his life over to the care of God. The voice of the Lord spoke to Jeff and said "Sing about your Life's Story". And it was from this revelation that this CD project was born.
As you listen to this CD I hope that you will feel the intensity of Jeff Roberson, and his personal testimony. Each song is impacted with a powerful message of hope and triumph. From the first track of " Good Morning Lord" to the last track of "Spiritual" the message is the same. "Total Surrender".
Jeff Roberson and the Long Island Fellowship Ensemble will be around for some time to come. Enjoy this musical journey into the life of a musical genius.
