New is even better

Let me first tell everyone I have a decided bias about this album. I've listened to these tracks for quite some time, in part because I purchased a pre-release copy. In response to C. Hanson, I've also seen Robert James in concert and was intrigued by his stylings. I picked up a copy of this cd at a gig Robert James headlined in Vancouver. He has a unique voice and style, especially exhibited on You Tear Me. The lyric is heartfelt and the vocal equally honest. I look forward to his new release.

This lizard really rocks...
author: C Hanson
After seeing Robert perform at a local club, the "Lizard on a Rock" CD was a 'must have' to acquire and add to my music collection. I've since listened to the CD a number of times. The lyrics reflect Robert's songwriting style and poetic flair- a mixture of raw honesty and emotional sensitivity and intensity.
My personal favorites are "Lizard on a Rock", a song that rocks, and the lyrics emote the sense of solitude, "Save my Soul" with a vulnerabilty it carries, and "Diary" with a haunting quality in the lyrics while Roberts' vocals shine through.
Those who choose to add the "Lizard on a Rock" to their musical collection won't be disappointed. Once released, I'm looking forward to the upcoming 'Slouching Towards Bethlehem' CD.
