Romance, Heartbreak, Love, Life. Continued elements of Robert's creativity.
Never fails to Impress...
author: Rich AldanaIt is what it is .. Another example of music in it's rawest form. It Transcends it's previous sisters in music form. You cant help but mention the man behind the music. Bobby...aka BATMAN...Lamm,..From So. Chicago is always in rare form. From his first ...Skinny Boy To the current CD. Dont fail to give this a listen
Conscience is NEVER Out of Style
author: Rich SegarraFrom the somewhat bewildered and angry young man of the late-60's - early-70's (weren't we ALL a bit angry and bewildered back then?) to the reflective and illuminating voice of today, Robert has ALWAYS commanded respect for his sense of conscience and insight. "In My Head" is a shining and evolved example. A TERRIFIC, must-own CD!!
Heavenly Inspiration
author: IndyTonyI'm the songwriting partner of Rhonda Bennett, who is also on this site.. She LOVES Chicago and Robert Lamm and Jason Scheff. My wife and I pray for her daily that she can write with one of these talented performers who have inspired her since childhood. Robert, you continue to write wonderful lyrics and music. (For all you young guitarists, Tony teaches at IRC in Indy.. He has truly been blessed with bringing life to a new song) Bless all of you and please keep Rhonda in your prayers. Truly good songs that come from real life - that's what it is all about. God bless! www.RhondaBennett.com
Superb
author: Jen FlynnRobert's musical talent blows me away. His lyrics are fresh with vision, the music is pure sophistication. Each CD is better and better. His talent is orginal; I just can't get enough. Mr. Lamm is one of the greatest songwriters/musician of our era.
very cool
author: kimvery cool. like robert's vocal alot. cd sound's great and was shipped very quick.
After hearing "In my head" it's in your head.
author: carlHow often do you really want to keep listening to all of the songs on an album? Unfortunately, not often enough. You always want to hear the next song on Robert's albums. He is creative with his use of different styles and you keep picking up something from his lyrics the more you listen to the songs. You have to buy "Sublety and Passion" after you buy "In my head" because it is the next project from Robert and you will want everything he does.
jazz, jazz, jazz, jazz, jazz, jazz, jazz, simply brilliant jazz robert.
author: christopher mchughRobert has always had his roots in jazz, I know from his own admissions of his own artists he loves. This album is so overdue enabling him to break away and create his own style as he likes, which is so easy to listen to. I am a fan from 1967 - 2003. I possess every album, single, cd and the video of 1993 and all solo material including the 1974 solo album. "I stand at your door" is pure soul, Phoebe Snow compliments the great mans voice .Sheis wonderful too. I will recommend this album to all my large aqaintances in England. Thanks for the honour. Chris McHugh
Innovative and electrifying!!!
author: PatrickThis was the first Robert Lamn CD I had ever purchased and boy was I happy. The music ranges from Jazz to Rock, with a little funk in the end. Robert Lamn does a great job and I only hope the band (Chicago) has the rock and roll soul to play a few of these while on tour.

I think this is an exelent album!!!The only man with chicago who is still in process.But-I hope for the next album he can aford a better produktion with more real musicans, than on this or "Live is good..." I hope a man with his career, has earned enough too make it sound as brilliant as his music is - outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Stuff
author: AnytraIf you're tired of the same old uncreative "music" this is the CD for you. It's mellow, funky, driving and electrifying. "Middle of The Bed" caught me by surprise, and has become my favorite track. This CD is a must for all Music lovers.
Robert Lamm's "In My Head" is Simply Brilliant!
author: RobinI just love In My Head! This is a creative blend of various styles of music woven together and wrapped around some of the most beautiful and heartfelt lyrics. Add Robert Lamm's amazing voice to all this, a couple of guest vocalist's, and you have an incredible masterpiece!
