Every year I wait anxiously for December to arrive so that I can start performing all of my favorite holiday music. In addition to the treasured family memories this music evokes, I also love the songs themselves beautiful, challenging, and joyful. Santa's gift to me is the added pleasure of playing piano for my favorite vocalist, Jackie Allen. She is truly the singer's singer, and a joy both to work with and listen to. What a wonderful way to share the spirit of the season!

After such a warm response to Santa Baby, we thought that with our next pressing it would be fun to include other favorite and lesser-known songs to the collection. Most of these songs recall the sounds, feelings, and even smells of Christmases as far back as I can remember. Some are new to me but all of them give me the warm fuzzies. I've witnessed Judy be not only inspiring to listeners as a pianist, vocalist, arranger, band leader, entertainer, producer (thank God she can't cook or sew!) but as a mentor as well to so many other musicians like myself who cross her path.
