Album Notes

"Red Hot from the Attic Door" is a combination of Jazz Standards and funny Cabaret-style Parodies performed Live by the Jaimie Roberts Trio. This collection of songs showcases the broad range of Jaimie's vocal abilities and two decades of experience as a singer and actress. Inspired by Bette Midler, and yet trained as a classical vocalist, Jaimie is equally adept as a jazz vocalist, leading lady, or cabaret singer with a great sense of humor. From the classic "Route 66" to the funny-trendy "Taylor, the Latte Boy" to the poignant ballad "Coloring Book", this record explores a wide range of styles and emotions that will entertain you from start to finish.
