Robert Terry is a guitar player, singer, and songwriter who grew up in Toledo, Ohio.
In high school he formed a garage band and played in local rock venues sharing stages with Bob Seeger, Ted Nugent, and Joe Walsh when they all were just starting out.

Highlights included a gig with Richie Havens and a shared bill at the Village Gate in New York with the Chapin brothers.
Since his arrival in Los Angeles in the mid-70's he has worked as guitarist, vocalist, or songwriter with artists as diverse as Michael McDonald, Paul Williams, and cajun accordianist Joel Sonnier.
He has toured the world gathering the life experience, characters, and stories that have gone into his songs.
His latest CD, Junkyard Serenade is an ecclectic mix of blues driven, stark, soulsearching, sometimes quirky stories about lunatics, liars, and fools with a hint of Dr. John, Tom Waits, and Randy Newman.

Loved it ! Unique. Haunting words, exceptional guitar work.

Loved the bluesy guitar work, slightly cajun sound. Gritty and raw, artist has lots of talent and hope to hear more music like this. A++++++++++ (I plan to buy a few more for Christmas gifts for my friends.)
