Album Notes

SLOW BURN - my newest cd, is a program of music of many moods and styles and features acoustic experimental rock and synth based compositions all laced with guitar work I hope you will enjoy. Featured are three collaborations that were done over the internet with three different artists each having a diverse and unique style and they all are seriously creative so it was a joy to work with them and allowed me to explore my love of dropping a little guitar into diverse and musically lush soundscapes. I kept it old school by keeping the overall length of the cd at just over 37 minutes, LP length, so it can be listened to in one sitting and enjoyed as a collection/concept rather than song by song. I am deeply influenced by the music of Hendrix, McLaughlin, Zeppelin, Miles, Coltrane, Zappa, Django, Fripp, Eno, and many other artists and styles. I have said before about my influences... A to Z, Abba to Zappa, and everything in between. I truly enjoy it all.
