Robert wade has spent his life on the road. He has moved over 16 times and traveled all over the world (currently living north of London). The many experiences of his life, experiences that bring forth depth and insight into the human soul, are found in the thought provoking words on his first professional recording "thinking out loud". On this album, Wade delivers an eclectic mix of songs that will take you through a rollercoaster ride of insight.
Joshua W. Bingham, a staff writer for The Gadsden Times, recently wrote "Wade's style of singing stays at a constant laid-back tone through the album. It is, in fact, almost like he's talking many times. But there's still movement through notes and nice grunts between syllables. This is a good singer. He's not going to scream to the upper levels of the Eiffel Tower, but his soft poetry will make the tourists bend down to hear what's on the ground.
And after 10 tracks, the CD ends just as passively as it began, with emotions discussed and philosophies and doubts thrown into the wind. Do you want to settle down and give an ear toward art, toward stepping out of the hustle, toward one man's faith - just for what it is? It's rather calming to do so". Just take a moment to do as Joshua did and resign yourself to the journey that Wade's music will take you on.
Wade is backed up by an incredible array of studio musicians on this project. Chris Wiegel on Bass, Andy Hubbard on Drums, Kenny Meeks on guitar, dobro, and mandolin, Steve Wilson on guitar, sitar, and background vocals, and Mitch on guitar, keyboards, moog, and bed & tape loops. Steve also lent his engineering expertise to the project. Robert is thrilled with the outcome of this project and is excited about what the future holds.

    I loved this CD and is one of the cd's where almost every song is great and we listen to it in the car, because he has a great voice and I can listen to him no matter what mood I'm in.

    This is beautfully-produced CD, haunting, comforting, meaningful and joyful all at once. Ironically, this album didn't "grab me right away, rather it grew on me like a slowly-burning ember that eventually consumed me entirely. Evertime I hear the album, I'm always hearing something new, something I hadn't noticed before. Robert writes in a very sensitive and mature lyrical style. He is a poet, storyteller and songwriter all at once. There are very few artists in the world who can do this and Robert is one of them. The two strongest tracks are "Live" and "Monkey Cymbals" - songs that I believe are destined to become major hits. It is very difficult to put this CD down. Few CDs have the power to make one really "think and feel" the way this one does.

    wow...this cd owns. Its been a long time sense i've heard a cd where i like every song. Calm, Chilling, Inspiring, and very thought provoking, this cd is a work of art. I had the honor to see Wade play "When Doves Cry" at Italy this year and hang with him at the beach, and Wade is an awesome person as well as an awesome musician. I definatly recommend this cd.

    The cd? Great! We have had Wade and Dana at Shepherds, our church. They are better in person than on the cd... if you can imagine. To me the cd is a spring rain... gentle but strong which seem to be opposites but mix very well in a deep heart. Enjoy!

    I was glad to have been able to meet and talk with Robert, a.k.a. Patrick, at the Teen Camp in Bad Honnef. Robert has wonderful musical talent and I loves his songs, including Live and Breathe. I have had the privilege of meeting Robert and seeing him play many of his songs in person. I was amazed and still am. Job well done Robert!!

    I just had the honor to hang out with Robert at a Teen Camp in Bad Honnef, Germany...he's an incredible person that just so happens to play and write incredible music. He played a few of his songs from this cd for the kids there and he was great. This cd, front to back, is great and I wish there were more cd's that were this full of great songs then just filler albums. Excellent.
