Album Notes
Robin's song writing and performances started years ago around campfires across the country. Audiences found her lyrics inspiring and often humorous, and her melodies unique and drawing. She would sing out acappella, and over the years, more and more of her audiences would sing along. The My Loin Cloth Has No Pockets CD has many humorous songs about living the outdoor and primitive skills lifestyle, like the title song, and the first track: I Need A Man Who Can Keep Me In Buckskin! In 2007, in cooperation with Don Richmond of Howlin' Dog Records, and the generous support of Laverne Loftus, she was able to turn her lyrics and melodies into "real" music with the masterfully crafted instrumental compositions of Don. Their combined folk/ country/ bluegrass style is assisted on this CD by the primitive sounds of didgeridoo and djembe played by Fuz Sanderson of the noted group Sapien. This fresh and original offering is sure to bring a smile to your face and get your toes tappin' ! The album includes an 8 page lyrics booklet with pictures.
