Album Notes

ROBIN BROCK

Energetic and powerful are just a few words that describe the songs of singer/songwriter Robin Brock. The Canadian Rocker has just finished the follow up to her critically acclaimed debut album "Blame it on Rock And Roll", with "Hidden Power".

Robin has returned from a promo tour in the UK. Some of the extremely well received dates were at the BBC Lounge, London and the Classic Rock Society, Rotherham. Reviews of the shows are in the Classic Rock Society Magazine and Powerplay.

Teaming up once again with hit songwriter John Capek, Robin has also joined forces with fellow Canadian Randy Bachman and legendary Producer Keith Olsen. Robin described the experience of working on the album with Tim Pierce (guitars), James Kottak (drums), Jeff Pilson (Bass) and Olsen, "Raw and Magical."

"Hidden Power", is a taste of hard driving rock, with honest lyrics, meshed with beautifully crafted melodies. The album has been released to radio in the UK and Europe and was album of the week for the British Armed Forces radio. The Cd is currently being played on Internet radio Worldwide. "I Surrender" co-written with Randy Bachman has been chosen as a finalist in Ireland's National Song Contest for Peace. Two additional songs "That Scares Me" and "I'm Doin' Fine" won for best rock songs and best Canadian entry in the Netherlands Song Expo.

Robin's debut, "Blame It On Rock And Roll" produced and co-written by John Capek, has won numerous song writing awards. It has taken her to Australia, Romania, England across Canada and to parts of the U.S., as well as giving her airplay around the World on both Radio Stations and Internet Radio, and much coverage in numerous Magazines and on Internet sites.

After signing with A2 Records in the U.K. Brock was voted #2 Female Vocalist, and #2 Overseas Artist by the British magazine PowerPlay.

With airplay on Much Music's Indy Spotlight, radio exposure nationally, and internationally, A2 Records introduced Brock to the United Kingdom, Europe, and Scandinavia.

Songs from this album were featured in a movie soundtrack, as well as the mountain bike video, North Shore Extreme III.

With her new release "Hidden Power", Robin Brock is taking the World by Storm.
