Robin's (your) album is wonderful. I first learned of your work when I visited Alaska in 98, afterwards wrote to you and bought 12 albums to give to friends, and you were thoughtful enough to write back. Your voice is lovely, very pretty, sensitive and variable, and not too high pitched for a woman. Your music and lyrics are tremendous. I love all the pictures you paint. I found Alaska more than beautiful, it is inspiring. I myself am a New York City, concrete apple, subways, skyscrapers and ghettos background. I'm also a private pilot and enjoy ballroom dancing. So much of what you sing about has personal meanings and associations to me. I recently bought a copy of your album to give to a patient (I am a Psychologist) for the song Long Goodbye as his wife and HS sweetheart that he is still in love with has advanced Alzheimer's and he is preparing with me for the day she no longer remembers him. The song provide much understanding, though he tells me he believes he will appreciate it even more when she does not remember him. The songs To Dance With You and The Years Fall Away (the latter a waltz I've tried to choreograph) are wonderful celebrations of love that has lasted a lifetime.
