It's a little bit country, a little bit pop, and a little bit folksy in spots. In spots, it's downright City. That's why it's called "Town and Country". There are influences in here from Carly Simon to Mary Chapin-Carpenter to Reba, and lots in between.

Robin Munson has been a singer-songwriter for over twenty years. She has played in clubs from Albuquerque to New York City. Two of the lullabies which she penned with her sister, Michele Brourman, were included on an album released by Blue Ribbon Music. The lyrics of a song she wrote with her sister, ("Better from Behind"), was selected as part of an anthology of women's writings ("Crème De La Femme")to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Her ode to Norman Rockwell, ("Like I See It") has been recorded by Dianne and Michael Killen. Several of the songs she co-wrote with her husband, Art Munson, have been made part of compilation discs, and the song, "Tough Love" was recorded by Anita Ward on Polygram, Italy. She was also a co-writer on a song with Shannon Beaty ("Melrose In The Morning"), which appears on Shannon's debut album.
Art Munson, who produced this album and cowrote most of the songs, has been in the music business for over thirty years. He started out playing with Dick Dale and the Deltones, arguably the original California surf band, and later toured with the Righteous Brothers and Paul Williams. He was a writer with A&M for four years. Following that, he owned and operated his own recording studio, and in the last few years has been writing and producing songs with Robin. Art has had recordings of his tunes by such diverse acts as Randy Crawford, Bill Medley, Paul Williams, and Linda Carter. He was also a co-producer on several cuts of Vonda Shepard's Warner Brothers album. In addition, Art has worked with Barbra Streisand, John Lennon, Cher, and a myriad of other notable musicians.

A great country CD about love and life.
author: Michael Elkin
Country music is about love and loss and moving on, and Robin's CD is a beautifully written, sung and produced contribution. Listen to Lucy's Song: haven't we all tried to "make forever last".

Now matter your mood or place, you put this CD on at home, in the car, at the beach and you will like the various styles and pleasant vocals. Clean, clear production and good arrangements. Nice use of hooks and dynamics throughout this CD.
