Influenced by time, yet timeless people have said that this album describes me and my music as a North Carolina Jazz Giant. My straight ahead jazz infused by my own heartfelt originality is known to transport listeners to a state of transcendent bliss. I was recently named as a North Carolina living legend because I have been refining my craft since I discovered a bulgle in the woods behind my home at age twelve. Over the years, passion, dedication and creativity have allowed me and my music to evolve into where it is today. I am devoted to passing along my love for music to young people and serves as a role model to all. Having performed around the country and oversease my heart is rooted in givng back to the community that nurtured me. I am also a dedicated family man, as evidenced by the songs on this album that I wrote for my three granddaughters, Gabrielle, Analise and Jasmine.
