Robin Wynn has been singing since she was a wee tot. From commercial jingles to choir, singing has come naturally to this native rural Virginian since the time she could talk. Picking up the guitar and writing her own songs would come later, however, and when it did, an audience soon followed. Playing at an open mic night in downtown Charlottesville, Robin met Mark Goldstein, the future producer, engineer and lead musician of her first album. Robin describes learning guitar and testing her songs in front of an audience as "the most gut wrenching, vulnerable thing I have ever done, and still do". A few years would intervene before the album would come to fruition. The innate hum of the songwriting beast within her would not cease, however, and so upon the insistence and support of her friends and fellow musicians, Robin set to work on her first album, Oblivion. Recently asked by a radio interviewer about the dark implications of the title Oblivion, Robin responded that it wa
