This CD is a treat for anyone interested in the pure sound of an acoustic guitar. The amazing melody of the guitar matches nicely with the tone of Mayes' voice. The lyrics are incredible and easily applicable to life. I look forward to seeing this artist's future unfold. Good Show

Outstanding album with an original sound...
author: Ryan A. M.
In his debut album, 21-year old Rob Mayes proves his worth as a musician and not as just another good-looking guy with an acoustic guitar and a sad song. Catchy melodies, poetic lyrics, intriguing rhythm -- this 7-track compilation has it all. Besides the obvious variety and orginality of the record, what's particularly notable is the meaningfulness of the tracks. Mayes doesn't just strum some chords and sing a song, he articulates emotion. Glimpses of Truth is definetly worth a listen... it won't be long until Rob Mayes's voice is drowned out by your very own voice singing along.
