What do you expect to find here? What are you doing here right now? Catch this moment, slow down and watch it grow bigger... This moment is the most precious thing you have. There is no other one like the present. Spend attention to it whatever you do!

"2000 explodiert" is a musical tribute to this moment. It captures moods of the inner-and outer space, all recorded in the first take to entrap the spark of creation. Instruments used are synthesizers, sampler, theremin, base, box, bottles, sound Devices.

The words float along with the music painting a story. They arise as the song unfolds. It's an electro-psychedelic chill out space disc that is sometimes darker than you might expect. Although there are quiet a few English songs on the CD the majority is sung in German. If you can't speak German don't be afraid - you will surely be able to enjoy the music...

"Der kleine Prinz" refers to the legendary story by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It is mostly instrumental, has a beautiful melody and is one of the pearls of the album. It sounds like a Ghost Town...Try it out!

Robodop Snei is a Solo Project by Dan Silver that started off 1996 in Germany.
There have been various cassette-releases in a small number of copies throughout the late nineties.

1999 gave birth to the first CD called "düster/freundlich" - "(dark/friendly)". A few live appearances followed prior to that release. In December 1999 the base of Robodop Snei changed to Australia / Melbourne. After the unfortunate experience of a total data-loss of 6 months work the following year was a very creative one in which "2000 explodiert" was recorded. Finally in late 2001 the CD is released. It has 14 tracks and is limited to 100 Copies.
Since then there have been quite few more releases that clearly have shiftet in sound and musical exploration.
