Rob Parton is better know in the Big Band World as one of the top lead trumpet players in the country. For the past four years Parton has been working five nights a week playing straight ahead jazz in a restaurant called Catch 35. His jazz playing is among the best in Chicago as a trumpet player and he is quickly becoming a jazz trumpet player with his own signature sound and improvisational style. The Rob Parton Quartet is an introduction to Rob Parton's Jazz trumpet playing and will hopefully be the first of many CD's like this.
