I first saw Robynn in a local group in St. Louis called Five of These. The group was great, she was amazing. Modern American Female Gut was a fantastic album... I highly recommend it.

I heard a clip of "trying to fly" on a tv show and was hooked instantly. After a week or so of hard internet detective work i found out who the artist was and where to get her cd. There is not a bad song on this disc, one of the better purchases i've made in recent history. My personal favorites are "People you know" "trying to fly" and "juggerknot" but the album is incredible. Her PR people need to step up the program and get her out in the mainstream. I sure hope she makes it to the east coast so i can go see a live show. A tour with her and Lisa Loeb would be about as good as it gets.

Not one song gets skipped on the CD changer. good work, The folks in St Louis were right...

I bought this CD after hearing a tiny clip of one song ("Peace In The Water"), thinking it would be worth the price of an album just to have the full song, but hoping, of course, that the rest of the album would also be worth a listen. I wasn't disappointed - this CD is great, from beginning to end. I've had in my discman nonstop since I received it 2 days ago, and it's not going to be moving to a shelf anytime soon. Excellent job, thank you!
