“Rock Child is the sort of band that could only be spawned by New York City. Take the bombast of Led Zep style classic rock, infuse it with a vaguely eastern musical aesthetic and you'll begin to get the idea. Throw in some unique falsetto vocals, lyrical themes covering everything from partying with pirates to what it means to survive and prosper in NYC, and you'll be closer. Top off this melding with intricate and hyper melodic guitar work, sometimes quirky (but never insouciant), sometimes epic song structures, and perhaps you'll have finally reached an understanding of the full vista.
