This album was done in the pop rock style with vocals in every song. This is so much different than my earlier albums before entering the country genre. All my earlier albums were hard and instrumental. Its funny all of the albums which had a song with airplay were done in this pop rock style. And this style I never felt my forte. What they say in Belgium is we are as deaf as blind umpires when it comes to picking hits. Furthermore it was completed in 1999 and not performed on air til 2007. Is this album ahead of its time or retroperfect or both? The song Beautiful Lair is the hit single performed on 5 episodes of the cableshow 18 and Over. Beautiful Lair is short for Beautiful Claire. It was originally a country song with just acoustic guitar but I felt it needed more hence the pop arangement. Beautiful Lair was an actual person---a woman I worked with who was going through a divorce. She had 2 daughters. Her husband was very controlling and she had mixed feelings towards him. This kept her from dating and starting a new life. The song list is (and I expect more hits) 1)Pray For Peace In Northern Ireland 2)Sitting In The dark 3)Hey Pretty Baby 4)Hippie Chick 5)Two Weeks 6) I thought you loved me baby 7) Im going to walk out on you Baby 8)BEAUTIFUL LAIR 9) Garage Band 10)The marines 11)Fifth Beatle 12)A classical Tragedy 13)Eventhough your gone 14) I just wanna scream 15)A no Good Woman 16) The Day I joined the Marines.
