Rockin' Ryan began his career as a DJ in the 1990’s. He was spinning savage rockabilly and grind-house garage.

It wasn’t long before he formed “Rockin’ Ryan and the Real Goners.” With Ryan’s vocal talent, the band burst onto the scene and rolled directly into the fast lane; first, with guitarist CC Jerome, and later with guitarist Rip Carson. The band recorded several records for the indie label, Golly Gee Records.

“Undercover” is Rockin’ Ryan’s first solo record. He brought along guitarist Rip Carson, who single-handedly performed 90 percent of the music on the record, playing guitar, bass and drums -- also with a little help from Bob Gothar on guitar and Richie Onori on drums.

This album is a collection of cover songs that Ryan personally chose from his obscure record collection.

Rockin’ Ryan really rises to the occasion and does homage to these old records.
