The album ''School Of Rocktight'' is a compilation record which is the latest effort produced solely by Walter Rocktight, a up and coming producer from Columbus, Ohio. His production credits include '' He burns Trees'' performed by Copywrite and featured on EC Allstars 4 released summer of 2004 on Eastern Conference Records, '' Love To Hate '' from the album ''Smashy Trashy'' performed by Sa smash and released in summer of 2003 on Def Jux records, '' Sick One Four '' by Jakki the Motamouth from his album ''God Vs Satan'' released on Babygrande records in June of 2006, and '' Time Is Coming '' performed by Illogic for his album '' Write To Death vol. 2 '' released on Dove Ink records in spring of 2005.
The concept for "School of Rocktight" was influenced by the movie School of Rock starring Jack Black.The album has an up-beat feel similar to that of the School Of Rock film, but with a hip-hop twist that caters to Rocktight's already developing audience desiring a more fundamental hip hop sound. The album features established underground mc's including Jakki the Motamouth { Babygrande Records }, Copywrite [ Eastern Conference Records } , and Manifest of Greenhouse Effect { Weightless Records }, as well as a host of other local Columbus talent waiting to be exposed to the masses.
