ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Fifteen tunes that I've found rolling around my head in the last 20 years since I started playing the Five String banjo.
I'm Rod Durst from northeast Kansas,I've been listening and playing music as long as I can remember. We have a long family tradition of music, going back to my great grandfather, who was a fine fiddler,so they say.
Many of these tunes are named after my wife and grandkids, and there's a little story about each one in the liner notes about how they came to be.
My son Ryan plays guitar and bass on this project.Stan D'Aubin does a stellar job on the mandolin as well as guitar on a couple tracks.Band mates John Keim and Joe McElroy play on track ten, fiddle and mandolin respectively.
A big thank you to Jim and Pam Bunch of Palm recordings in Rogers Arkansas for making this project happen.
enjoy,
Rod
