Roderick A. Andrews, born 10-09-1964 in Sweet Home Oregon.Roderick grew up as a three sport athlete.Rod's exploration into music started late in life," I didn't know I had any talent to make music." After high school I went to college to be a chiropractor. That didn't work out, I lost the love of my life, And with a broken heart and an increaseing habit of drugs and alcohol, I began to spiral down hill. With shattered hopes and dreams, no love in my life, I began to write. My pain flowed onto paper like blood spilling from a deep cut, spraying my emptiness and sorrow,I tortured myself endlessly blaming myself for the relationships demise." I was hurting"!
And suddenly I began to sing about my pain, my anger, and all the sad things that accompany being alone. Unable to play any musical instrument, and with no education or musical background, my poems started taking the form of song lyrics, and I began writing them down in verse and chorus form. And as they improved my courage to try some of them out on my friends did to. So I sang my songs to my buddies when I'd get drunk enough not to care what they thought. Well they were quite impressed! So I kept on writing. Then I got a guitar for christmas and I slowly began to teach myself how to play. The better I got on the guitar the better my songs became. Well I just basically fooled around until 1997 when I decided to get serious about music, and the harder I tried the better I got. I played everywhere I could, back yard parties, bars, anywhere I could get some feed back on how I was doing. People seemed to really like my stuff so I pushed on.
I met some people, some girls that inspired alot of new material, and that brings me pretty close up to date.
This cd was inspired alot by three girls,Thanks Girls! I couldn't of done it without you!( Jenny,Opal,& Shelley)

The album has potential, if he would listen to his hillbilly friend at the slezy C, the sound would escalate to a height of unsurpassable measures. Open your ears, shut your mouth and just do it! SLEZY C MUDGUTZ!

The CD were listening to obviously the work of A lifetime.A friend who played music I once told to put more anger and pain into it.He just laughed at me he told me that you would have to be deaf to not hear the anger and pain in his music. He was right. My opinion of this CD is that it needs remixed it only gives you A glimpse of what youd hear if you listend to him live.BUY IT !! TRY IT !!!
