Album Notes

Roderick C. Simons has been involved with music since early in his life when he was classically trained on the violin. Even at this time, he played with passion. Every note that flowed from his violin painted a picture full of color and beauty.

Later in life, Roderick added piano performance and composition to his musical repertoire. Although he has been influenced by the classical and romantic composers, “Michael Jones”, “David Lanz”, and “George Winston”, his style is distinctive. The depth of color and expression offered by the piano allow Roderick to create picturesque melodies and harmonies that draw you into the music. Roderick composes music in several genres which include ambient, patriotic, and contemporary Christian. Emerson wrote, “The quality of imagination is to flow and not to freeze”, and in Roderick's music, the imagination indeed flows.

Although Roderick is a professional software developer by trade, he takes time to share his music at coffee houses and small gatherings. If you would be interested in having him perform at either, drop him a message.

May Roderick's music help fire the passions that burn within each of you.
