A Solid Product Here...

I listened to it thoroughly and critically. Overall you have a solid product here, and one that has also shown improvement over the last one. The first album was solid too, but this one had more cohesion. This is significant because so many times an artist comes with a good album, but then subsequent albums don't live up to their previous works... this isn't the case here. The strongest songs on this album (in my opinion) are: Runnin', Work In Progess, Torn, Babygirl, Damages, and Learned From You. They are in no particular order, however these songs seem strongest to me. Runnin', Torn, and Babygirl have the most 'hit' qualities. Babygirl and Work In Progress have 'classic' features. I do not think that Experts is one of your hit songs although I think the beat for this song is awesome. Runnin' has a hot beat and the song is put together well - powerful. Torn is a song that I (and most likely others) am familiar with as well as Babygirl. I think Damages is written very well. It is super descriptive and tells a realistic story. Work In Progress and Learned From You are also written very well and compete with Damages for best written song on the whole CD. The beat for Work In Progress has more of a good vibe type feeling, and Learned From You is real and heartfelt; so, depending on the mood I was in, I would choose between these 3 as the best written songs on the album. You have a great product here and I think that it will continue to do you well. Good Job and Good Luck on the new album!
