Album Notes

Roger Johnson is a true country-rock/Americana music pioneer, having fronted such bands as Hickory Wind, Cimarron, Johnson-Rifkin, Rodeo Beach and Excellent Drivers. He is also a three-time winner of ASCAP's developing songwriter award.

With four decades of professional music experience - as a live performer and in the recording studio - Roger brings a wealth of experience and the “big ears” required of a successful record producer. He has appeared on stage with Nashville alt-country singer & songwriter, Kim Richey, as well as Counting Crows, Rosie Flores, Jann Browne and Kracker.

Here's what music industry luminaries are saying about Roger’s original material…

“Guilty - of intelligently written & commercially challenging music”
- Richard Sweret (Arista/BMG Records)

“Classy and thoughtful”
- Jim Walsh (St. Paul Pioneer Press)

“A vanguard of excellence in the sea of musical mediocrity”
- Doc Bowman (Palm Springs Music & Entertainment Guide)
