Roger Jones has a unique style featuring very singable melodies and wonderful story-telling. This story of Paul and Silas lends itself particularly well to the musical format. They arrive in Philippi in response to a vision of someone calling for help. They meet Lydia the 'seller of purple' and then a demonised slave girl. Both women become believers, but as a result, Paul and Silas end up in jail. Around midnight, Paul and Silas are singing hymns to God. Suddenly an earthquake wrecks the jail, springing open all the doors and chains; but rather than escape, Paul and Silas lead the Jailer and his family to faith in Jesus.
