Album Notes

This is the first professionally recorded CD of the band from Örnsköldsvik/Sweden. The recordings were made at Tonteknik Recording in Umeå. Simplicity is the name of the game, the lyrics got substance without being pretentious. A charming addition to the CD is the collection of vintage instruments used for the recordings - some of them are quite rare and unusual The singer Roger Häggström is a prolific songwriter. These songs are the focus of the group and the recordings. Musicians on the album are; Mats Bystrom on more than one instrument on each track and backup vocals, Pelle Henricsson drums and percussion, Bjorn Sohlin violin, Ulf Edlund lap-steel and Dobro, Eskil Lövström trombone, Roger on Viola da terra/banjolin/harp-guitar and Sofia Henricsson backup vocals. Pelle is the producer/mixing and mastering engineer and also arranger of the songs together with the band. The CD is pressed and comes with a nice booklet of 12 pages with all the lyrics.
