It's a disgrace......if you don't buy this cd!!

Got one from RogueRob the first day it came out - just like the first one, it grabs you immediately and keeps you listening til the end, at which point you do the only intelligent thing: start playing it over again! It's that good.

Be Advised - This guy rules

Obviously, a genius. It's NOT just "Another Day", when you
get your hands on Rogue Rob's material. I was blown away
immediately by "Garages of the Infamous" and "Pacjam".
RogueMix 2000; Volume 2, is a fantastic addition to
everyone's collection ~ along with the ever so
addictive Volume 1. You WON'T be disappointed!!

Finally - - Volume Two!!! And this one ROCKS, too!
author: Chauncey Puckerman
Here it is, and not soon enough -- the follow-up to RogueMix Volume One, which I very favorably reviewed on this site. As in the first effort, this collection is put in the proper order as well - one track flows creatively into the next, always making sense and always keeping the listener involved and intoxicated. And Rogue Rob's wit is in high evidence, particularly in Robot Morons, with 6 original (warning: one foul word is used! OH NO) Rogue vocal samples, and in the two concept pieces - TechnoQuartet & The Kid Next Door - it reigns supreme! TechnoQuartet is described on the back of the cd like this: 'anyone who's ever lived in an apartment building knows what happens when two opposing musical factions collide' - and that's what it is: a classical quartet competing for soundspace with a very loud and obnoxious techno-rock band, which seems to be filtering through the walls from somewhere upstairs. It's hilarious. And The Kid Next Door is described thusly: 'so you're playin' yer ax with yer band & yer neighbor (through the wall next door) unexpectedly joins in.' That's the concept, and it is achieved beautifully as well: the rockers kick in, with the lead guitarist playing the same riff over and over like he's 14 and it's the only one he's learned. Suddenly, we hear a slick bass riff, sounding like it's coming though the wall next door! It's the neighbor, playing along! At first the band is skittish but then the one-riff guitar guy goes back into his one riff, until the bass player changes HIS, forcing our guitar boy to improvise something different. The result feels like a genuine exchange, and it's delightful.
Get this wonderful cd today and discover its rewards for yourself. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I heard this cd because a friend of mine has it, and I am going to get a copy as soon as possible. I love these mixes, especially the original ones like Robot Morons and The Kid Next Door. Really cool stuff.
