Album Notes

I wrote these songs over the course of 3 years. Little Bird was inspired by a pane of glass which is used in the video, Secretly was inspired from the word “Heimlich” which Helena taped to the mirror one morning. Get Back On came about because Andrew Sloat wanted something for his More Perfect Union Video. From Andrew also sprang Inauguration, for his Article 2 video. The birth of my niece brought Posy. Snowdonia came due to Suelbiye asking. Anyone Else’s Love was improvised with no one and nothing in mind. For The Room I’m In, I owe credit to the room I was in, in the Subrt Pension in Prague. Ballad For Sarah was an improvisation, recorded in Eisenbahnstrasse 2. It’s Okay That You’re Gone was my first foray into electronic music. The picture on the front of this CD case is a still from the Little Bird video, and the picture on the back is a still from the Room I’m In video. Please watch the videos at least once. The songs were conceived together with the videos. All music on this album was written and performed by me, except the drums on Get Back On, played by Franco Pinna. The Record was mastered by Kris Verex at Highwood Audio Mastering, Berlin.
