I know Eric, personally
I was the manager at Million Air-Tulsa when this happened. Although Henry's references aren't exactly accurate (only people in aviation would catch them) he nails this one. I am happy to say that Eric(I'm not giving his last name) is a very professional pilot, today. The story actually unfolded in 97 and Eric now flys corporate jets for a living. Eric refuses to listen to the CD but, I have played it for dozens of other pilots. THey all want a copy. I've laughed so hard that I've had tears rolling down my cheeks.

Great Spoken Word
Rollins is a great storyteller. Eric the Pilot, in particular, just flows off his tongue as if you were sitting at a table with him over coffee. It is one story on one disc, and it regards one time when Henry had to make it to a gig and all the other planes had left the airport, so he had to ride a puddle-jumper piloted by Eric. Eric is quite a character and Henry Rollins will have you laughing in your seat. Don't play this one in public; people will think you're crazy. If you enjoy spoken word albums and you don't have at least one Henry Rollins disc, then buy one right now.

Great storyteller, tells with great conviction!
Funny to find something so different from what Rollins is most commonly known for! He tells the mishap of a story with great passion and keeps adding funny quirks. Rollins was born to do this; his powerful voice and maniacal spirit suits this genre! "The plane has been re-fueled, ready to go Mr. Rollins!?"

Keeps you entertained and stays with you
I first heard this album from a friend a few years ago, and parts of it stayed with me for that long and recently I needed to hear it again. I found it here and I've listened to it a lot since i got it. It's very funny and Henry Rollins is a great storyteller.
