Romeo Django born Raphael Foster in Forth Williams Westmoreland, Jamaica. He's now residing in Montreal, Quebec
He has been in the music business for the last 20 years. His first recording opportunities came by way of Wild Geese Productions when his friend Shippy was the producer. His first songs were Ladies Night, I Cried the Tears, and Dem A Run Come which was released three times by Chicken Chest, another reggae artist.
He also did a lot of dub plates for many sound systems in Jamaica like Doctor Love, Music Master, and Chiney Man Sounds System from Nannyville in Kingston, Jamaica.,while touring jamaica sharing his singing/songwriting talent on many sounds and stage shows in sav-la-mar. kingston, montego bay, st. thomas and in portmore
Since his arrival to Canada, he has done an album with, Homegrown Records which is titled "ready fi dis". "Thanks to George Bennett, now Raphael (romeo django) Foster is co-owner of Wildgeese Record Production and is producing lots of old and new talent in canada, usa and jamaica and looking to work with talents from around the world , artist and music producer romeo django is a really dedicated buisnessman with mad love for music.
His biggest hit to date is Heart Breaker a cover version which was #14 on the London Reggae Chart, alongside Little Harry who did the number one song in Jamaica, Anarexol Body," champion lover"hot single on the new album "THE RETURN OF DJANGO", mother of all nation, Sally and more. Django is friends with some of the big names in reggae today, artists such as Richie Stephens, demarco , ronnie davis, "the itals" " carlton livingston" and many more , . Romeo Django or just Django as his friends call him, and Richie Stephens started singing at dances in Sav-La-Mar, they developed a friendship and their friendship is still strong.
His greatest ambition is to become an accomplished singer/songwriter/music producer, who will touch the soul of many, and to share with and educate people through his gift.
