You won't be able to stay indifferent while listening to Rona Geffen's debut album Bilono,.

Bilono is influenced by everything surrounding it – from news of a female suicide bomber to that constant dripping of the neighbors air-conditioner. Bilono is a blend of extremes - gabber and heart rending violins, violence and love, east and west, sex and concrete - creating a precise and unique tone.

BILONO is the perfect soundtrack for the pulsating chaotic harmony of Israel of 2009. Just as the colorful and conflict filled reality of life in Israel can not leave one unmoved, it's just as impossible to stay untouched by the music in BILONO.

About Rona Geffen:

Rona Geffen was born in Israel's outback capital, the southern Be`er Sheva, grew up in the northern city of Nahariya and about ten years ago settled in Tel-Aviv. Since then she worked in almost every aspect of the music industry, as arranger, musical coordinator, PR manager, producer, and soundtrack composer. A graduate of Muzik – School of Creation & Production in the musical production department she participated in the anthology Luna-Park ( Hatav Hashmini 2007 ), an album composed of songs written by youth's at risk. For the past three years she has been working with plastic artist Alona Rode as the duo BoomBoxing Crew, dedicated to the creation of powerful and refined, smoky sound-installations which premiered in Israel and mixed-media events worldwide.
