Ron has played silver classical style flutes for over thirty years and one day at a Powwow he bought a Native American flute from Wolf Robe and his life changed immediately. The soulful quality, rich timbre, and expressive modulation had him hooked on this very ancient instrument. He then began to collect and play this style of flute exclusively. Already having mastered breath and being accustom to deep meditation, the flow was natural and the sound was irresistible.
There is a spirit of the teachings of the path that come through the instrument. Spirituality transcends all dogma and is a universal state independent of the mind and belief structures which is a natural and transcendental state of loving being. For Ron playing the instruments is an expression of the Spirit of order dancing with the inner Light of life.
This album is all flute solos. There are no other instruments or overdubs: each track is presented as it was played. Although slight digital reverb was used, since access to natural chambers or acoustic halls were not available, the effects are minimal and the natural sound of the individual flutes is emphasized. There are two tracks where Ron vocalizes into the flute while playing it, a unique style that sounds like an electronic effect, but is completely natural and has a quality of invoking energy to create sacred space. There are also two tracks with an Anasazi flute, which are very mellow and even a bit haunting.

The natural grounding and simultaneous uplifting of the balanced spirit can touch you deeply within to reawaken the energies of life and help prepare you and allow you to vision the ways to journey through the changes into the new bright future on our dear Mother Earth.
