Some of the greatest entertainers and songwriters in history were all rebels in there own right. Unwilling to compromise art for the almighty dollar, yet having a voice that literally demands to be heard. Found in a group that simply refused to fall within the confines of the cookie cutter industry that dominates corporate radio, stands Ron Brown. Radio has called Ron a storytelling genius, with the power to spin out gut-wrenching tales from the heart. Each song is born through the ache of personal experience, tragedy and triumph, ruin and rebirth. The passion and energy in his music and in concert comes from his innate desire to bring the audience with him on his journey. The intensity of his magnificently deep, rich voice and powerfull lyrics holds them spellbound. With two songwriting contracts under his belt, T.V appearances and now the N.A.R. Country band of the year award to his credit, along with two tracks on this album hitting the number one spot on an indiependent chart, And now being heard on radio stations throughout Europe as well as the U.S.A. I'ts sure that Ron will be around for some time. Come join us for a ride on this self- titled CD. Were sure you will enjoy it. Not often is an album or even a single song writen that both men and women can relate to.This CD is that way from start to finish. Here stands another example of an true artist that is not a part of the corporate world. You wont hear this on your national programing stations. WHAT A SHAME !!!!!. Good luck to you and wish you only the best. It pleases me very much to see someone have the guts to write what they are and not what someone else wants them to be. This is a very HONEST album.
