Delta Blues came from Mississippi in the 1920s. Unlike modern blues, it was not usually performed by a band, but by a lone singer/guitarist, such as Charlie Patton, Son House, or the legendary Robert Johnson "King Of The Delta Blues". Using only an acoustic guitar, these men created some of the most powerful, exciting music ever recorded. With the greatest of respect, I have tried to emulate them and the music I love so much.
