Ronda Paramoure
"Inspiring the World Through Music"
Vocal Stylist, Song Writer, and Instrumentalist Ronda Paramoure is making music that inspires the world.
THE MUSIC
From Guatemala to England, from Germany to Spain, Ronda musically engages her audiences with sounds that soothe the soul and pierce the heart. Warm alluring vocals often compared to Sarah Vaughn, Sade Adu, Phyllis Hyman and Anita Baker. Ronda's musical inspiration has been touched by the influences of traditional jazz and blues, afro-Cuban, and classical genres.
This multi-talented artist has equally mastered both the flute and saxophone as part of her inspirational musical expression. Honored as the first female member of Dillard University's Jazz Ensemble, Ronda began her musical career in New Orleans, Louisiana. For the past 15 years she has seasoned her vocal and instrumental abilities along side such musical greats as: Lawrence Hamilton, Kitty Daniels, Ronnie Millsap, Lou Rawls, Maureen McGovern, Edwin & Walter Hawkins, Lena Horne, Ron Kenoly, Olivia Carmichael-Brown, Phil Driscoll, Ellis Marsalis, Kent Jordan, Ron & Chantell Rosson, Sister Sledge, Roy Ayers, Bop Jackson, Margaret Becker, Mark Payne, Taylor Dayne, Color Me Bad, Patrice Rushen, Babbie Mason and Ben Tankard to name a few.
Featured on this CD are phenominal jazz musicians: Ron Carmichael, King Basil Powell, Mike Barnes, Anthony Breach, Xavier Chisolm, Talisa Marshall, Roy Jaeger, Kenny Walker and Gary Berrien.
THE MINISTRY
"I will reveal to them the abundance of peace, prosperity,
health and healing; security, stability and truth."
Jeremiah 33:6
...That verse sums it up for Ronda Paramoure and her call to ministry. And as evidenced in her life, heart and music, this is the hope that she has and shares in Yeshua the Christ.
Based out of Central Florida Ronda Paramoure has been traveling internationally performing in churches and at festivals and conferences for the past 15 years.
Blessed as a resource to the local church Ronda and her husband Thomas enjoy functioning as clinicians to church music departments. Music clinics offered include but are not limited to: "What Is Your Motive", The Power Of The Tongue", "Vocal Coaching", "Song Writing", "Stage Presence", "Preparation For Music Ministry", "Psalmists and Ministrels United In Christ", "Christian Artist Development" and "Improvisation in Worship".
As a resident artist for more than 10 years, Ronda accompanied Pastors Gregory and Deborah Powe as worship leader, guest soloist and special music ministry artist throughout the United States, in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (West Indies) and in their first Ministers Conference in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Ronda's Ministry has seen evidenced the fruit of Jeremiah 33:6, as there have been documented physical healings amidst her music ministry.
THE MISSIONS THROUGH WORLD VISION INTERNATIONAL
In the quest to encourage her audience in reaching out to underprivileged children and their families overseas, Ronda Paramoure has also partnered with World Vision, the largest privately funded Christian relief and development organization in the world, to raise awareness of and support for the work of World Vision, specifically in the area of child sponsorships. World Vision's Child Sponsorship Program links poor children in developing countries with individual donors in the U.S. and other developed countries. Each child benefits through direct assistance, as well as improved living conditions for his or her community and family. More than 500,000 children are sponsored by people in the U.S., and more than 1.1 million children are sponsored worldwide. Through partnering with various artists, tours and conferences including Ronda Paramoure, World Vision has acquired more than 36,000 child sponsorships and introduced World Vision to over 1.5 million people. In 2000, World Vision celebrated their 50th anniversary and is currently active in nearly 100 countries through more than 4,000 projects.
With songs that deliver an Adult Contemporary sound with a jazz flavor, the music ministry of Ronda Paramoure is impacting the world with a message of hope and healing through Jesus Christ.
