Rondo Sterling is an alternative pop/rock quartet based in Louisville, KY. Since 2003, Rondo Sterling has been perfecting a sound that is artistic and commercial, distinct and universal. Through ingenuity and musicianship, they create songs that entertain, enlighten and inspire music lovers of various persuasions. All four members have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of greatness and the chemistry that has been formulated between them promises fruition. Whether it be their stoic perfectionism in the studio or their capricious virtuosity on stage, this sterling outfit never belies its namesake. Rondo Sterling’s self-titled EP debuted in May 2005 to critical and commercial success. All four songs have found radio rotation with "Much Fun" being played regularly on WFPK Louisville 91.9 FM and "Green Contacts" added to Clear Channel's Undiscovered channel. "Much Fun" was also selected to be included in the Winter 2005 First Spinz Radio Compilation CD to be distributed nationally to pop/rock radio stations. Beginning January 2006 you can hear "Much Fun," "Flakes," and "Arms Around" on iRadio Los Angeles 104.7 FM. At this first studio session, Rondo Sterling chose to record their most polished material. However, they are now poised to record the crème of their repertoire. Soon they will be compiling all pending recording offers and make a descision for their first full-length album Sprezzatura to be recorded and released in 2006. Watch for the buzz on Rondo Sterling.
