With the release of ''JESUS ON MY SIDE'' written by long time friend Red Simpson, Ron has hit the # 9 spot on the top 100 (www.countrygospel.com) international chart for Feb. 2006.
Ron was a part of the Bakersfield, Ca. country music scene back in the 70's and 80's and worked with ''RED SIMPSON'' and many others. In the 90's Ron returned to his first love (GOSPEL MUSIC). Ron's new project has a variety of old hymns and original country gospel songs.
Ron has produced this album with friend Kenny Dawson.
This is a country/bluegrass/country gospel labor of love.
