Album Notes

After moving back to Phoenix from New York City, I played around town with various musicians from lounge singers to Zydeco and Latin bands. The music for Triptych was written for a three piece band that i was performing with at the time. The band eventually went seperate ways but the music was still there waiting to be produced. I always loved the triptych painting by Hieronymus Bosch called "In The Garden of Earthly Delights" so i decided to let that inspire me to write this music. A triptych is a painting in three sections, each one stands on its own but is part of the whole piece. My band at that time was like that, three individuals performing as one tight unit. My thanks to all the musicians who played on these tracks - they are some of the finest in the southwest.
