An ingenious 45-part sonic journey with songs ranging in length from mere seconds to just a tad over 2:40, SSoTC is best described as instru-mental prog metal madness somewhere between Steve Vai's 'Flex-Able', a MIT math exam, and a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Reviews:

To put it simply - to think of writing an album like this one requires insanity. To be able to pull it off requires genius.
- Armen Janjanian, Metal Observer

This album is nothing short of astonishing. Ron's virtuosity really shines through here, and the music, while rather technical at times, is presented very warmly with great feel and expression. I have to hand it to him - this is really something.
- Neil Kernon (producer - Queensryche, Kansas, Judas Priest)

‘Solitarily Speaking Of Theoretical Confinement’ is a guitarist’s guitar album. Unconventional in the extreme and very ambitious - a funny, exciting, rule-bending, boundary-breaking rollercoaster-ride of technically perfect guitar-wizardry. This album-length dithyramb on the potential of focused creativity should be on the required-listening list of every student of the guitar, and every musician seriously considering making progressive music. This little gem deserves nothing less than 5 out of 5 points.
- Marco Van Leeuwen

Wearing a white lab coat and reading glasses, Dr. Ron flips through what's surely a textbook of musical madness. Lurking within is music taken to the -nth degree. Think Steve Vai pushed the envelope with Flex-able? If so, Jarzombek rips the envelope wide open with his newest creation. Think Flex-able on steroids, and you're still no closer to describing this disc than the I.R.S. is to abolishing the income tax.
- A. Lee Graham, Electric Basement
