Album Notes

Brand new Christmas tunes by Ronnie I in the same good time all American rock n' roll and acoustic guitar rock tradition as found on his 1st CD, Ronderosa Rancho Motel! Chock full of memorable feel good melodies and tasty performances!

Song #1, "New England Christmas", has a rollicking John Mellencamp meets Bob Seeger feel to it. Memories of great Christmas times back in New England.
Song #2, "Wake Up It's Christmas", has a crunchy rocked up Chuck Berry vibe to it with a Beatles White album "Back In The USSR" feel. It's about waking up at the crack of dawn on Christmas morning and the excitement & anticipation a kid has on that magical day.
Song #3, "Here's To Old Friends", is a mellow acoustic blend of guitar, piano, vocals & great harmonies,(with a french horn and a few extra instruments thrown in) kind of an "Auld Lang Syne" toast to all the friends that have helped you make special memories over the years.
The last 2 songs on this Christmas collection are mellow acoustic guitar instrumentals. There's some flute and percussion tossed in with the guitars on "Higgins Beach Holiday" and just the big full sound of 2 acoustic guitars with a tasty new finger pickin' arrangement by Ronnie I on the traditional classic, "Greensleeves".
This Christmas snack pack of tunes will definitely get you in the holiday spirit!
