In the past 7 years Soul/R&B artist/songwriter Ron Kingston has toured extensively in over 10 countries including Japan, Korea, Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bahrain and many more. With performances exceeding well over a 1000 shows in some of Asia's most prestigious venues, festivals, hotels and clubs, this is undoubtedly a true testament of his dedication as an artist and musician. In 2005 Kingston performed a record breaking 113 shows in a row in Japan’s Summer Budweiser Music Festival from May until the end of August and quickly sold out of his first pressing of Ron Kingston's CD within the first 4 weeks.

Surprisingly, Kingston never had any support for a music career growing up and neither had a singing lesson in his life. Despite this his music is romantically charged, with refreshing melodies, sensuous grooves, and smooth soulful vocals. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Ron Kingston has been on a musical journey since his early school days. He also spent invaluable time nurturing his song writing skills and music career in New York City. Whilst he was there he performed with R&B band Edible Soul promoting his original songs at venues such as The Spiral, Bitter End and Orange Bear.

His music has long reflected the musical passions that inspired him. That just may be the reason why many people are drawing comparisons to his new album with artists such as Maxwell, Terence Trent Darby, Marvin Gaye and Sting. No doubt Ron Kingston's album showcases his natural development as a multi-faceted artist and performer who is creating a stronger global audience.
