RONNIE RAY & THE COOLERS
"LIVE at Cactus Flats"
Ronnie Ray plays blues harmonica in the old fashioned way: he wails on it, and the Coolers really put the jump in West Coast Jump blues. This breakout first CD is a live recording made at the Cactus Flats Inn in Frederick, Maryland USA, in May 2004, and has a genuine juke-joint feeling to it.
The CD contains 12 classic blues tracks-one original (#7 "Ice Breaker") and eleven of the most original-sounding covers you've probably heard in a long time. Track #9, "Caledonia," is a favorite of Coolers fans and always gets people out of their seats and onto the dance floor. Track #12,"Help Me" is a show-stopper, and captures the whole essence of Chicago blues.
We hope you'll purchase LIVE at Cactus Flats-and help to keep classic blues alive. You can get more information, announcements, and a gig schedule for the band at www.ronnieray.com.

author: L.A. HinzeThanks for keeping me updated with your E-mails. Myself and friends of mine from Hagerstown, had a great time on CD release night at Cactus Flat's a couple weekends back. It was our first visit there, and we truly had a fun night. We've listened to your CD many evenings in my back yard during some beer bashes with friends since that night. We already have made plans to be at the Broad Axe on the 21st of August, as you visit my hometown. Looking forward to it. I visit your Web-site during my work hours to tune you guy's in from time to time. Of course, I work in radio, and after day's and day's of rock music, hip-hop and R&B music, your Rockin' Blues music get's me refreshed alot of the time. You guy's are great. Thanks, Lori Ann Hinze
