Join in and celebrate at Stas and Stella’s Mostly Traditional Polish Wedding!
The Greeks started it with “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”, the Italians were next with “Tony and Tina’s Italian Wedding” and now the Poles can celebrate at
Stas and Stella’s Mostly Traditional Polish Wedding!
This CD captures all the music and excitement felt at a traditional Polish Wedding.
You will experience a traditional Polish Wedding, the way it was held 50 years ago in Western New York’s Polish Community.
The CD was recorded at MyHouse Productions and features 18 song tracks.
The lead track is the opening theme song of the Stas and Stella's Mostly Traditional Wedding dinner theatre musical entitled Stas and Stella’s Polka.
The polka melodies and lyrics follow the script of the play which includes Stas’ Polka, We Are Gathered Here This Evening Waltz, Yes Stella, You’re My Baby, Stella be Mine Polka, Stella I Can Get Used to Losing You Polka, She Don’t Love Me Anymore and Everything’s Coming up Stella’s Polka.

The CD offers eight traditional Polish Wedding songs including As Time Goes By Waltz,
and The Unveiling or Oczepiny Songs:
Serdeczna Matko – Mother Beloved, a traditional and holy song to the Blessed Mother.
The Unveiling Song – Rosnie Trawka, the main event at a Polish Wedding signifies the bride passing from single women to married woman. (This is the most sought after song by DJ's and brides.)
and Spadła z Wisni - The Cherries are Falling.
The Let Me Call You Sweetheart/I Love You Truly medley gives the Bride and Groom a chance to dance before the exhausting
Pani Młoda (New Bride) Polka - this dance custom allows the Bride to earn some money for the couples honeymoon and a chance to dance with everyone in attendance. Monies are usually collected by a Grandmother in attendance.
The final two traditional songs are Sto Lat - May You Live a Hundred Years and Good Night Ladies, both to the polka beat.
No Polish Wedding would be complete without a couple extra polkas so we recorded two polka classics:
