NIGHT. The domain of Mother Sun's brother. Migrating birds call to one another and to the stars that guide them. Sweetly scented blossoms awaken memories and desires. May our dreams be gentle and bring us wisdom. May the flute call someone special to join in the dance.
Ron Warren - from liner notes.
Ron Warren's second CD remains rooted in the traditions while living in the modern world. The music celebrates the night with full arrangements for the band and vibrant solo Native American flute tracks. On this CD, Ron plays an assortment of flutes hand crafted for him by Danny Bigay, J. P. Gomez, Ken Light and Colyn Peterson as well as keyboards and shakers.
We are honored to have Grammy nominated world musician Dawn Avery join us on cello for three tracks. We are also proud to introduce a gifted young singer, Janice Torres on two tracks. Ron's regular band includes Brian Kooken on acoustic and electric guitars, Leonardo Lucini on bass and Alejandro Lucini on drums and percussion (yes, the Leo and Ale are brothers).

To blend the traditional Native Music with modern music is an art.
author: Mary-Ann Myers
I was just at a INFA Conference. Flute music Galore !! Had a wonderful time and Dr. Ron Warren was one of the presentors, not to mention he did perform on stage. We had flute concerts for 4 nights in a row. By day, classes, by night concerts. Truely an awesome experience. I took Ron's class and it was a pleasure to listen to him speak and hear him play. Yes he mixes some of the music but the basis is Native American and that is what is so intriguing. In the concerts he was the backbone playing his piano. I admire his talent and hope to attend more of his classes. His CD's are awesome. To blend the traditional Native Music with modern music is an art and a miracle when you can combine the two and come up with something very beautiful and very Native.

Totally AWESOME! Ron's music is absolutely beautiful. I really like the way he's combined rock, jazz, and other genres with the N.A. Flute. He's climbing up the ranks. I highly recommend this CD to anyone! A great combination!
