Album Notes

“Little Things,” is the first album put out by The RootSoul Project. Done with acoustic guitar, mandolin, slide guitar, percussion, and cello, it covers a wide range of influences from upbeat bluegrass (Wrong Again), to soulful ballads (Whether the Weather, Somehow…), to reggae and funk. The unique acoustic arrangements are a great framework for the characteristic vocals of Randy McQuay. “Little Things” blends the old with the new, mixing classic soul with reggae and blues.
