"THE GOSPEL CIGAR" (Album One)
"The Gospel Cigar" is an epic 12 song alternative rock music adventure under the influence of middle eastern drones, spaghetti western guitars, Las Vegas show horns, 70s discoteque beats, and early 80's sci fi ambience, all sown together with a tight bottom end and covered with layers of voices.
Gospel Cigar music is: Anthemic pirate drinking music scored for a voyage beyond the edge of a flat earth? Sometimes. (What Could Be Better Than Loving You?)
Gospel Cigar music is: Odetta bred with a "Y" chromosome and doused with psychedelic distortion? Sometimes. (You Never Talk To Me Anymore)
Gospel Cigar music is: Seal turned white and forced to sing for Simple Minds? Sometimes that too. (Midnight Moon)
Gospel Cigar music is: Robert Plant and Tom Jones forced to work something out.
Use "We Should Be Together" as an easy way for a listener to get in the gospel cigar waters. Gospel music has a new, peculiar house-guest.

"THE COPA CLUB" (Album Two) A live album by Rory Rorshak and COPA, The Gospel Cigar Rock Band.
The Copa Club is an experimental album- with all tracks recorded live in three different clubs by the diligent Dylan Seals, who carted in case after case of equipment and microphones and had to sweat the shows out in a van parked behind each club. The album was recorded with the belief that live performances have an energy that simply cannot be duplicated in a studio environment, and that Copa's music shines when performed live. Its a great collection of interesting songs, sounds, and a wonderful reference to the Copa catalog.

A sincere thanks belongs to all of the gentlemen of Copa past, present, and future, as well as all who supported us with their attendance to these performances.
Note that many of the songs contained in "The Copa Club" exist as studio recordings under the band name "Copa" on three separate albums:
Hotlights (2002)
Magnus Copa (2005)
Discografiti (2006)
as well as on the Copa Compilation album:
"The Copa Canon" (2008).
One could poke around iTunes for a while and never find these, however, as the "copa" moniker is so effectively claimed by Barry Manilow, world soccer, and exquisite clubs from New York to Rio De Janeiro. For these reasons, the recording, and all future renderings of the gospel cigar rock sound, will be under the moniker "Rory Rorshak". That's the kind of inside information that you earn by reading this far into the album credits.
