Album Notes

Rosalyn Brunswick-McDuffie stands in awe of the works of God as she recently released her independent solo, debut album, "Just Roz". This album features a variety of contemporary, traditional and even a little hip-hop gospel that will set your soul on fire. This release is fresh, anointed and bound to ignite your spirit. The first single, " Speak to Me" written by Roz and producer Chris Walker, will surely have you longing for a word from the Lord. " Another Chance", written by V. Michael McKay, is a daily worship, which will have you in tears. "That Somebody Is God", features, Yolanda Adams and is a tribute to America.

Rosalyn has been blessed to perform with such outstanding artists as" Vicki Winans, Yolanda Adams-Crawford, Darryl Coley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, The Williams Brothers, Pastor John P. Key, Ronnie Wilson and the Gap Band, Melba Moore, and many others.

Rosalyn Brunswick-McDuffie is a native of Los Angeles, California but lived in Houston, Texas most of her life. She is the daughter of Joseph and Rose Brunswick. She is the wife of Reverend Efrem Z. McDuffie and the proud mother of two, Charizma Zhonè McDuffie and Charity Zhonì McDuffie.

Her mother, an accomplished singer and musician took Rosalyn's God-given talent and trained her voice to be what it is today. Rosalyn has been singing since the age of four.

She is an active member of Abundant Life Cathedral where Dr. Ed Montgomery is her Pastor. She is currently featured on the church CD's titled, "Life There's Something More", "I Still Believe", and Mark Taylor and ALC in "Total Live Experience".

Presently, she and her husband are Executive Directors of three Willie C. McDuffie Adolescent Treatment Centers (Homes for abused and neglected children).

Her talent has also been seen in the following Michael Matthew's hit plays: "I Need A Man", "Mamma I'm Sorry", "Sneaky" and "Fake Friends". She also appeared in a TL&B production, "In The Fathers House."

In memory of the fallen and families of 9/11, Rosalyn recorded a tribute CD and Video, "Together We Stand," with jazz legend, Al Jerreau, and R & B artist Chris Walker.

Rosalyn recently recorded a praise and worship album on Tyscott Records, along with Gary Oliver, Israel Harton, Joe Pace, and Chris Byrd, entitle, " Let There Be Praise."

Rosalyn gives all praise and honor to God that she can minister God's Word to people through song. Her ministry is dedicated to youth and young adults across the country.
